Brandon Lovingier, ChFC®, MQFP®
Brandon Lovingier, ChFC®, AFC®, MQFP®, originally joined Fidelis part-time in 2025. Now that he’s retired from the Army after 20+ years of service, he’s our full-time paraplanner. He’s also been helping with operations, technology, and other service-related tasks. He’s been serving fee-only financial planning firms since 2020. He joined the Army right out of high school and served for over 20 years on active duty – including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
As a young Soldier, he and his wife struggled financially with debt and overspending. Fast forward, they’re debt-free and building wealth. He established his blog, Enlisted Money, to help other enlisted service members avoid the same mistakes he made. He’s also shared much of his own story of his transition into retirement from the Army.
Brandon earned his Chartered Financial Consultant – ChFC® designation in 2022 and is one of the first Military Qualified Financial Planner – MQFP® designation holders. He earned the Accredited Financial Counselor® – AFC® designation in 2025. He was awarded The American College of Financial Services NextGen Financial Professional Award for 2024. He’s been a speaker at MilMoneyCon and loves mentoring other military members on their own financial freedom journey.
When he’s not “nerding out” on personal finance, Brandon loves tinkering in his shop, camping with his wife and son, riding his motorcycle, and building LEGO with his son. His family has enjoyed traveling the world, including living in Germany and South Korea. They’ve recently settled in Kearney, Missouri, as their home base, closer to family and the wonderful people in the Midwest.
